The Canadian-born basketball star started his career from high school, playing for St. Benedict’s Preparatory School. Tristan played several games for the New Jersey team before a fallout with his coach, eventually leading to Tristan exiting the team.

He transferred to Findlay Preparatory School the following week, attending the same school with his friend and AAU teammate Cory Joseph. 

Tristan excelled at Findlay under coach Michael Peck due to the gaffer’s coaching style and system. Their combined inputs led the team to their first National Championship, as Tristan showed significant improvement.
