What is the Olive Garden?
Massachusetts-based Darden Restaurants Inc, In 1996, openly announced that it would be buying the Italian-themed casual dining restaurant Olive Garden from the American Capital.
The freshly equipped company gave the restaurant’s name a familiar Italian twist to provide a little flair to a, particularly dreary day.
Then, the brand new “Olive Garden,” which means in Italian “hollow” or “alley,” was launched. Now, Olive Garden is a business by itself, having five restaurants around the northeastern region of the USA.
Meanwhile, Darden later introduced the brand to the Southeast and the West Coast. In 1999, Darden doubled its existing system-wide count of Olive Garden restaurants to 138.
The History of Olive Garden
Over 30 years ago, just like its cousins Long John Silver’s and McDonald’s, Olive Garden was opened with ‘anything you can eat.’ as its motto.
Olive Garden rapidly made its way to the top of America’s significant fast-food restaurant industry with the alliance of a group of talented people and a large fan base (thanks to its countless Italian dishes).
In 1984, the original Olive Garden restaurant opened as a chain of the Darden Restaurants Inc.
The menu consisted of hand-tossed salads, hand-tossed salads, fresh-made homemade pasta, salad dressings and unlimited breadsticks.
Presently, Darden is a fast-growing company with more than 470 restaurants in the U.S.
Several doctors at Tufts Medical Center started offering their patients countless breadsticks and salad, for free, in 1987, when dining at the original Olive Garden.

The Italian restaurant is a people-pleaser with so many choices that it’s the best place to go to celebrate various events.
Dine at Olive Garden to celebrate birthdays, weddings, graduations, anniversaries, engagements, and if you’d like, throw a surprise birthday party.
The best nights to eat are Wednesdays to Fridays between 5 p.m. and 9 p.m. when children dine free when you buy one adult meal.
Wednesdays are mostly the thrift nights to eat; meanwhile, crowds are generally not so ever, majorly at the chain’s most famous locations.
More often than not, tables can be booked instantly because tables mostly sit open for beyond 2 hours. Due to this, You’d have to book a reservation if you would like a table.
Dressing for the Occasion
The taste and quality of your attire are very relevant. Although, when you are shopping, don’t forget: Food.
Men don’t need to dress as women. Don’t buy a lot of ruffles, lace, and taffeta. You don’t need a bustle in your dress. Wear clothes you can wear for a long time.
Accessories: Avoid purchasing big, too hefty bags. Big, heavy loads may make you walk sluggishly, and then you’ll get in a car and drive. Likewise, don’t use a purse that is not vividly sized.
Instead, look for a bag that is portable enough to fit in your hand like a purse. Then, take your wallet off your arm and cross your legs.
What to Order off the Menu
The menu is grouped into many sections – desserts, entrees, salads, and of course, appetizers. Many customers order two to three entrees, one of which is mainly the pasta recipe, to share with maybe a friend.
There are also four different drink options. All except the wine are sold on the housemade “palagonite” clear glassware.
To kick-off, most customers choose the unlimited antipasto salad or lasagna. Pasta recipes are made from many ingredients, including vegetables, meat and more — all carefully cooked and seasoned to perfection.
A wide variety of pasta is available, including classic Italian, penne ala vodka, lasagna and creamy Italian.
Salads offer an array of options, including Greek or roasted, with a little something for everyone.
Pizza, Pasta, and Other Italian Dishes
Pizza lovers and Diners know that the majority of Italian chain restaurants sell pizza, pasta, and all-you-can-eat salads—but the question remains, how exactly does one know which Italian restaurant serves the best pizza?

There is no surprise about Olive Gardens new menu. Of what I read on the press release, i was looking forward to something more like the previous menu, having the legendary breadsticks center and front
Yet I was already making plans to set up a new kitchen, I made the choice to gp with it and not wait for an announcement.
I then ordered an eggplant parmigiana and found it delightful and I couldn’t really find any flaws as I enjoy every bite.
I wouldn’t mind making olive gardens my go to for delightfulness and their breadsticks don’t even get me started!
