What is the Olive Garden?
The Olive Garden restaurant chain began when Darden Restaurant Incorporation, a Massachusetts-based restaurant made it known in 1996 that it would be purchasing the Italian-themed Olive Garden restaurant from its American Capital.
The name of the restaurant was given a well-known Italian twist to offer a flair to one’s dreary day.
Olive Garden means alley or hollow in Italian. And, as a business by itself, Olive Garden now has rough time restaurants all over the North-Eastern region of the US. Moreover, Darden later made an introduction of this brand to the West Coast and Southeast.
In the year 1999, Darden began doubling its ready existing system vast count of Olive Garden restaurants to one hundred and thirty-eight.
The History of Olive Garden
More than thirty years ago, Olive Garden made its debut with its motto being “anything you can eat”. This motto was the same as that of McDonald’s and Long John Silver.
In no time, this restaurant swiftly made its way to becoming one of the top fast-food restaurant industries in the US.
It made an alliance with some talented people and a huge fan base. This was as a result of its numerous Italian dishes.
In the year 1984, the initial Olive Garden restaurant began as a chain of Darden Restaurants Incorporation.
Its menu featured hand-tossed salads, freshly made homemade pasta, numerous breadsticks, and salad dressings.
Currently, Darden is regarded as a swiftly growing company with over four hundred and seventy restaurants in the United States.
Note that, as of 1987, many doctors at the Tufts Medical Center began giving their patients unlimited amounts of breadsticks and salad at no cost whenever they dined at the original Olive Garden.

Things You Can Order Off The Menu
Olive Garden’s menu is split into sections which are appetizers, entrees, salads, and desserts. Most customers order from two to three entrees and one of them is majorly their pasta recipe. They can order to share with their friends.
You will also find four different drink alternatives. All of the drinks are sold on their housemate palagonite clear glassware except for the wine. In kicking off, most of their customers usually pick the antipasto salad or the lasagna.
Note that, pasta recipes are created from lots of ingredients including meat, vegetables, and much more. However, all of them are cautiously seasoned and cooked to perfection.
More so, a vast variety of pasta is made available including the penne ala vodka, classic Italian, Creamy Italian, and lasagna.
