In-N-Out Burger’s History
It must be noted that In-N-Out burger was founded by Esther and Harry Snyder. They were a husband and wife team residing in California. They opened their first restaurant in the year 1948 in nowhere else but Baldwin Park, California.
It was also their first drive-thru in Southern California. The plan the couple had was to build a company that sold super tasty fast foods and offer a friendly service.
In no time, the Snyder’s spent their first few years working extremely hard and learning from mistakes they made along the way.
After the hard work, they successfully opened a second store three years after they opened the first. However, during these first years, the growth was slow.
Nevertheless, they placed concentration on building a great menu, hence an enviable reputation in the industry. More so, the couple did not allow franchising of their business because the quality was more vital than quantity.
And after Harry’s death in the 1970s, their son Rich took over. Within twenty years, he expanded the business from eighteen to eighty-three locations. When Rich died in 1993, their other son, Guy, took over and kept expanding from eighty-three to one hundred and forty locations.
Currently, the company is still run, owned, and operated by the family. And, the President of the company is the founder’s only grandkid; Lynsi Snyder.
Although you will find In-N-Out Burger in just five states, their locations have grown to roughly two hundred and eighty. They are greatly known today because of the legacy behind the chain.
This legacy revolves around friendly service and quality meals served at reasonably affordable prices.
Every In-N-Out Burgers are crafted in the same iconic yellow, red, and white. And, the majority of the locations provide diverse ways to enjoy the meal. Customers can eat in a clean, and friendly dining area.
And, you will be efficiently waited upon by smiling members of staff. Also, you can have the option of using their traditional drive-thru or the take-out option.
The menu offered by this restaurant is refined perfectly with traditional fast food items. These items range from hamburgers, French fries, beverages, shakes, and double-double burgers.
Their burgers are an extreme blend of toasted bun, lettuce, tomato, seasoned patties, fresh onions and crisp, and gooey melted cheese. But they can serve your burger without adding the cheese if you do not want it.
More so, every one of their burgers is slapped with a layer of In-N-Out Burger’s special sauce, the business’ house secret which is a recipe that has not changed since the year 1948.
The shakes served here are homemade with one hundred per cent real dairy ice cream.
And, the fries plus hand-cut are cooked in one hundred per cent vegetable oil. As for their not-so-secret menu, you can try the 3×3 or 4×4 when you feel super hungry.
This is quite the same as the double-double but it is quadrupled or tripled. In-N-Out burgers also have protein and animal-style burgers.
Even with the awesome quality of their products, this restaurant stands out for a specific reason. This reason is that they are specifically cheaper than other competitors.
The regular burger or fries costs roughly $2. And, a combo will be about $5.
So, when you get to see an In-N-Out burger, do not fret or be shy, go in and get a taste of that quality meal.
