Daniel Donuts is a popular doughnut store in Melbourne, Australia, in 2016. The famous doughnut chain has become the go-to place for anyone who loves doughnuts, pies, coffee, and other sweets. Daniel Bartolotta, the owner, bought their old family bakery in 2015, named it Daniel bakery, and changed the entire menu with his creations.

Daniel always loved baking as a young boy. He assists his parents in their bakery, where he bakes croissants.

Every night he will bake doughnuts and spend his nights glazing sugar and icing doughnuts to be sold the next day. Customers usually anticipate the kind of doughnuts Daniel will prepare for the day.

Daniel Donuts had 20 assorted flavours to choose from when it started; now, it has almost 40 varieties. Most popular flavours include salted caramel, cherry pipe, peanut butter, fresh cream, and the controversial Nutella doughnuts.

It has become so incredible that there was a reported shortage of Nutella because of the high demand for Daniel’s Nutella doughnuts.

Aside from the original doughnut flavours, Daniel did not stop making new ideas like the Snickers Custard, the cookies and cream and passionfruit cheesecake. They also have Mars pods called “podnuts” in raspberry, Twix, Mars, and Snicker flavours. The custard-filled doughnuts, jam-filled doughnuts, and cinnamon doughnuts are their bestsellers.

They also have novelty flavoured doughnuts of bubblegum and butterscotch; Daniel Donus has vegan doughnuts for vegetarian customers, with no dairy and egg on the dough and toppings. Vegan doughnuts have classic glazed, jam-filled jam and cream, custard, and cookies and cream.

They also have gluten-free doughnuts that combine classic jam, chocolate iced, and white chocolate raspberry. People line up outside the doughnut stores to grab a bite and experience the flavourful doughnuts, even if it means waiting 45 minutes to 1 hour to get their order.

Information about Daniel’s Donuts menu

Daniel’s Donuts was created from a young child’s ambition to decorate doughnuts while watching his mother in the kitchen. As a young man, Daniel Bartalotta assisted his dad with their family bakery at Hogans Corner, from making danish and croissants in the night to frying them, sugar coating, and icing the doughnuts in the morning before going to school.

As a child, his experience and excitement paved the way for the Daniel’s Donuts we have today. Kicking off in 2016, the first store of Daniel’s Donuts is located at Springvale in Melbourne. Since then, they have expanded, with ten stores around Melbourne plus their recently initiated stores in Cranbourne.

The unparalleled commitment to serving the customers from their humble beginnings has taken them far with their first Drive-Thru store established in Belmont. They have also embarked on a home doughnut delivery service bringing exquisite delights to customers’ doorsteps.

Every week, Daniel’s Donuts serves thousands of people and they are forever evolving with their innovative recipes.

Daniel’s Donuts is primarily famous for its New Zealand style fresh cream with jam doughnuts and Nutella doughnuts. However, they also have a wide range of over forty doughnuts, mouthwatering pies, and delicious shakes.

With various distinctive flavours to choose from, including salted caramel, raspberry, cherry ripe, and lemon meringue, there is something to suit every palate. Experience the unique Daniel’s vibe while you enjoy their extraordinarily light and meltingly fluffy doughnuts. Their fantastic selection of doughnuts is not limited to the refrigerated and ambient range.

They also have a vegan and gluten-free range catered to vegetarians and health-conscious customers. Looking to have a family dining..? Check out their collection of assorted packs. Pair your doughnut with a milkshake made with natural ice cream and milk for the perfect savour.

Review

I decided to try Daniels after the countless Snapchat photos of the lineup and wait outside that usually occurs at this place. First, I would say that the doughnuts are relatively fluffy and the fillings are pretty lovely. I tried the jam, original glazed and their famous golden gay time doughnut. I thoroughly enjoyed every single one, the jam in

the doughnut was on point, so much jam filling!
